We can't cut all the wires, but we can act differently and pray for the rain.

You are a rain-maker, Síodhna!

Dear Siodhna,

The difficulty, and the necessity, is saying yes to life.

Much love,

Mahdi

Yes Mahdi, with the invisible helping hands that guide us.

Well done -- That sea you carry? One of Freud's contemporaries believed we each carry the memory of the first birth cataclysm, when the first fish emerged from the sea. That's a pretty cramped matchbook, but my sea-borne homesickness and violence is surely many generations old. How we carry it, how we pass it on is our work.

Thanks for commenting Brendan. Ah, that homesickness, that radar.

Like a magnet it pulls us to bear things, to choose to live better lives.

Your image of removing a single match from a line of burning matchsticks is powerful. Every generation has the chance to interrupt what it inherited, even if only in one small moment of grace. Thank you for such a thoughtful reflection.

Small moments of grace, joined up, could be how we live our lives.

Leave our print on the world ....like fossils. Lovely Antonio. Thank you for commenting. I found that image powerful too!

What can I say that your words have not already said, Siodhna? Thank you for your words and the music.

Thanks Paul, catching up on reading all I've missed these few weeks!
